Nicholas Shackley, Chief Executive Officer, is a visionary leader committed to driving innovation, operational efficiency, and sustained commercial growth at Gannet BioChem. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Lupin Manufacturing Solutions, overseeing sales, business development, strategic marketing, and product management.

With over 25 years of experience in pharmaceuticals and chemical manufacturing, he has driven commercial strategy, operational growth, and business transformations across global organizations. Prior to Lupin, Nicholas served as Chief Commercial Officer at Veranova, where he led a global business, expanded market share, and spearheaded strategic initiatives. He previously held executive roles at Aceto Corporation, BASF, Cambrex, and Avecia (AstraZeneca), overseeing P&L, business development, and manufacturing. He has served on numerous boards, including SOCMA (Vice Chairman and Board Member), Council for Responsible Nutrition, and Rx-360 Supply Chain Security Consortium.

Nicholas holds a BEng in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London and has completed executive leadership programs at Columbia Business School and Cranfield School of Management.

Chris Edwards, Chief Financial Officer, is a seasoned financial executive with more than 20 years of experience leading global finance operations and growth initiatives. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Solesis, overseeing financial leadership across its subsidiaries, driving business development, investment strategies, and financial planning. He played a pivotal role in major ownership transitions and led stand-up activities and high-value M&A transactions.

Previously, Chris held executive finance roles at Syneos Health, ConvaTec, and Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he established global shared services models, optimized financial operations, and managed complex business integrations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the U.S. His expertise spans financial planning, P&L management, business transitions, and systems implementations.

Chris holds an MBA from The University of Manchester Business School and is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).

Dr. Tony Sander has been a key leader at Gannet BioChem since 2003. As Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Sander oversees all aspects of manufacturing, development, and site operations at the Huntsville, AL site. With over 30 years of experience in chemicals and API manufacturing, he brings a wealth of expertise to his role.

Before joining Gannet BioChem, Dr. Sander served as Manager of Chemical Operations at Advanced Chemtech, where he directed chemical production and managed catalog sales of amino acid derivatives, resins, and peptides. Earlier in his career, he held various roles at Kodak/Eastman Chemical Company, spanning development chemistry, manufacturing, and business development in specialty chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and the photographic industry.

Dr. Sander holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Louisville.

Kris Johnson is a seasoned Quality, Regulatory and Compliance professional with over 30 years of leadership experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotech industries. Joining Gannet BioChem in 1998, Kris currently serves as Vice President of Quality and Regulatory. Kris has built a reputation for excellence in Quality operations under FDA and DEA regulations.

He has successfully led cross-functional teams in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, and Compliance across multiple sites. With extensive experience implementing and optimizing Quality Management Systems (QMS), Kris ensures organizations meet state, federal, and international compliance standards while fostering a Culture of Quality.

Kris holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Auburn University.
